Cas Garcia has informed me that the artesian well we donated last year is now operational. This project was a result of our fund raising effort during one of our golf tournaments last year. Doesn't it make you feel good that you have contributed to a basic need of our countrymen. Lets all be proud. Maybe we can do another one this year. [Johnny Pellicer]

The well became operational last May and will be functional for at least ten years as guaranteed by the contractor. It will be serving 250 to 300 families, each family averaging 4 members. In other words as a result of our kind gesture, 12,000 poor Filipinos will avoid sickness and disease. If our donation would save just one life of one child, it would all be worth it. And how much did it cost each one of us? Probably  two visits to McDonald's.
