September 2002 Tournament

There were 22 golfers who attended our last outing for the year 2002. It was also our club championship. The tournament was divided into 3 classes, A, B and C. Trophies were awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners.

The open division was won by Al Tiangco but our youngest member of the group, Bud Pellicer was only 2 strokes behind. The middle division was won by Al Carey Gesite. The biggest surprise of the day was Cas Garcia who came in second. Believe me there was a lot of good B players that he beat. Up and coming golfer Boboy Alipante beat his buddy Ramon Llaga for the C division title.

As always everybody was treated to a Filipino picnic catered by Lolita. See you all next year. Remember to convince someone to play golf. [Johnny Pellicer]
