The first golf tournament of the year was held to help the
Bicol group of Georgia, Sarong Banggui raised funds. There
were 38 golfers who attended. Glad to hear that there were
new golfers who participated.
One of our youngest member, Bud, finally won his first tournament
(Class A). Not to be "out-done" was his father Manoling
who won the Class B group. I heard Hazel Santos who won the
Class C group took up golf only last year. Of course there
were complaints about the handicaps. These numbers were computed
based on your last outings. We always start new comers with
high handicaps since we don't have a history of their previous
outings.
Anyway, I understand everybody had a good time. The food prepared
by members of Sarong Banggui was delicious. Boboy thanks again
