July 2003 Two-Man Competition Tournament
Browns Mill GC, Atlanta, GA

The July tournament was held at Browns Mill Golf Course. Twenty-seven loyal golfers showed up for this event. It was a 2 man competition based on current handicaps. Up and coming teenage golfer, Bud Pellicer carried his partner Ed Orquiola to win the event.

There were three 2nd place winners, Hazel Santos/Pierre Dait, Manoling Pellicer/Al Ray Gesite and Manolo Apanay/Al Tiangco. Closest to the pin winners were Romy Depalobos and Justo Chacon. Biggest surprise of the day was Nat Buluan who came played much lower than his 40 handicap. He must have plenty of time with his new job in Virginia Beach.

Ed Orquila who I understand was finally permitted to play golf with us by his wife got lucky and was teamed with Bud. Glad to see Justo's old man, Ron, play with us. Al Tiango's dad was also there but didn't get a chance to play because of health reasons. [Johnny Pellicer]
