PGAG Championship @ The Trophy Club of Gwinnett
Snellville, Georgia
December 4, 2004
We could not have asked for a better day for
the last PGAG tournament for 2004 @ The Trophy Club of Gwinnett
last Saturday, Dec. 4. It was indeed a gorgeous day to be soaking
in the sunshine, the cool breeze and the beautiful scenery of the
golf course.
With 35 golfers in best form and full gear, the
tournament began with all golfers in place for the shot gun start
at precisely 9:00AM. Immediately after the game, a delicious lunch
of Filipino dishes from Julies Kitchen was served and we greedily
took part in elevating our LBS.
This tournament was the last for the year and
also the last for my term as president of PGAG. Much can be said
about how our organization has grown in membership and in the number
of tournaments it has put together. It is a bittersweet ending for
me inasmuch as it it is my last tournament as president and at the
same time I am happy that a new leadership can give its ideas and
time to make PGAG even more successful.
My thanks to all the officers and members whose
unrelenting support made 2004 a great and successful year for PGAG.
I tip my hat to you all for a job well done. I will be remiss if
I don't make special mention for Al Carey Gesite. He not only donated
the PGAG website that we currently enjoy but also has givrn freely
his time to execute, design and maintain this website.
I cannot thank you all enough....please know that
deep in my heart is a special place for PGAG. This organization
has produced friendships that are bonded through the love for golf
and I feel very grateful for these friendships that I will always
hold near and dear to me.
