The PGAG June 2005 Monthly Tournament held last Saturday, June 18, 2005
at the Trophy Club of Gwinnett was a resounding success, with a total of
25 participants.
Richard Castelo the Low Gross Class A Winner with
Dave Caballes and Manny Pellicer.
Below is a list of the winners with the respective awards:

For the Low Net awards, (4) were actually tied at 73 using the PGAG
Modified Stableford Scoring System, including Gino Floresca. Per the
rules, Gino had to waive his Low Net award as he had already won the Low
Gross for Class B.
Mike Floresca won 1st place by virtue of his Par on the 18th hole. Al
Ray Gesite won 2nd place by virtue of his Par on the 17th hole.
Awards were given during the post-tournament dinner held at the Egg Roll
Restaurant along Centerville Highway (SR-124) at the corner of Bethany
Church Rd.
The handicaps of those who played will be updated before the next
tournament. As announced in the last tournament, the ESC or Equitable
Stroke Control will be used going forward. Please note that the ESC will
be used only in posting or reporting the scores of players in updating
the handicaps, not in determining the winners in the tournament. We hope
to have the latest handicap list posted on our website
(www.philippinegolfga.org) as soon as possible.
We hope to see y'all at our next major tournament - the 2nd Johnny B.
Pellicer Memorial Tournament which is tentatively re-scheduled for July
31, 2005. The move to hold the tournament on a Sunday was made to
accommodate more non-PGAG players (Thai, Chinese, American, etc.) so
that we will have a bigger field of participants.
