2ND ANNUAL JOHNNY B. PELLICER MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The 2nd Annual JB Pellicer Memorial Tournament held last Sunday, July
31, 2005 at the Browns Mill Golf Course was a resounding success, with a
total of 77 participants.

In addition to getting a replica of the Perpetual Cup, Danny Ceniza's
name will be etched permanently on the Champion's plate that goes with
the JB Pellicer Perpetual Cup.
For the Low Net (OPEN) awards, (5) were actually tied at 72 using the
PGAG Modified Stableford Scoring System, but Bud Pellicer got the nod
with his superior scores in the last 4 holes, where he bested Gino
Floresca. Ramon Llaga beat Tom Kroh and Richard Castelo for 3rd place
with his superior score for the 15th hole.
Awards were given during the outdoor post-tournament banquet in front of
the clubhouse, where Lechon and other fine Filipino food were served.
The handicaps of those who played will be updated before the next
tournament. The ESC or Equitable Stroke Control will be applied, and we
hope to have the latest handicap list posted on our website
(www.philippinegolfga.org) as soon as possible.
We hope to see y'all at our next tournament - the ATLANTA vs. AUGUSTA
Showdown in Monticello, which is scheduled for August 28, 2005. A
separate announcement has already been sent out for this tournament,
which will be arranged and sponsored by Augusta.
